Tourist trip to Bruges

Bruges is the capital of the province of West-Flanders and has about 117.000 inhabitants.

The historical centre of the city has largely kept its medieval character en has about 20.000 inhabitants. Bruges has also an important European harbour, situated at the Northsea. The presence of many museums and historical buildings testifies of a rich cultural past.

The Marketplace is one of the most beautiful places in the old centre of Bruges. In the middle the statue of the legendary heroes Jan Breydel and Pieter De Coninck. On the right the Belfry.
